The Teaching & Learning Exploratory team is pleased to announce exciting new features and a new pricing structure. Along with an updated look and feel, we are now offering a tiered account structure, including Basic, Professional, and Institution account options.
Basic account users will have free access to a set of videos that allow them to preview all collections hosted in the TLE as well as to access resources associated with these videos.
Users who are ready to explore all the features the TLE offers can invest in a Professional account, at a rate of $5/month (billed annually). Professional users will have unlimited access to all TLE collections as well as any newly added collections, including the newly released TeachingWorks High-Leverage Practices Collection and the Measures of Effective Teaching Extension Collection, which contains video of over 1,000 classroom sessions from diverse locations in K-12 settings. Professional users can also now take advantage of the TLE’s secure upload feature in order to work with their own personal education media in the TLE as well as share video with other TLE users.
Additionally, we have added an Institution level account that allows districts, schools of education, and other institutions the ability to provide Professional accounts and support to many users at once. We will also offer volume discounts for institutions purchasing Professional subscriptions in bulk as well as custom support for units and professional learning communities working in the site. Current paid subscribers will receive continued access to all existing TLE collections and tools for the duration of their subscriptions, with the opportunity to renew at the conclusion of their membership term.
